The village of Bukowiec is situated 55 km north from Poznan, not far away from the road nr 11 to Koszalin (8 km). The farm lies on the outskirts of the village, about 1,5 km from the centre.

The farm is 15 ha, including 1 ha of oak wood. Rye, potatoes and a large selection of vegetables are grown on the farm. The farmers keep a pony, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, poultry (ducks, geese, hens, turkeys, guinea fowl), and a wide range of pigeons together with 3 dogs.

The farm consists of former German buildings, which are approximately 100 years old. In addition to the main house there are two very large barns which house a large work shop, poultry houses, stable, pigeon house, woodshed, granary and tractors. Near to the house a former granary and stable have been adapted for tourists. The renovation has been done sympathetically and many of the old features have been retained.
